What an inspiration to all and a lovely idea. I just found out about this on Twitter. Thank you for all you do.

Nice job on trying to spread the word about red shirt fridays. I heard about it from fellow co-workers a couple years ago when I transfered to a different work location. My first friday there I was asked by a couple of the guys ” Hey buddy, where’s your red shirt?” I soon found out what it was all about and made sure I had a red shirt the next friday.
Being the son of a retired Marine who served in Korea and Vietnam I feel it is the least that I can do. And hopefully any service personel that see my red on a friday will know that I am saying “THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!”
Anyway keep up the good work and know that I will be wearing my red shirt on fridays untill all our brothers and sisters are back home out of harms way.

Great website!
I am a veteran that served four years in the Navy and six years in the Air Force Reserves. I am extremely grateful, and proud of everyone who has the courage to wear the uniform of armed forces of the Unites States of America. Thank you all for fighting for, and preserving the peace of this our great nations. Without you we would not have the freedom we all enjoy! God Bless you and God Bless the USA!
I wear red every Friday and will continue to wear it in support of our troops. God Bless this wonderful country. Thank you to all our soldiers and veterans.
I’m Red on Friday for about a month now. I might have to get another shirt made
Thank you for starting this site. Unfortunately, I don’t see many people wearing red on Friday’s. I’ve been doing it for a couple years now, since I heard of it. Thank you for what you do. God Bless our Troops. To the men and women serving to keep our country safe - Thank you! And go kick some ***!
I wanted to thank you for making this site. My husband is currently in the Middle East and although I have seen and heard many things about showing support by wearing red on Fridays (and being born and raised a Cornhusker fan it’s also tradition during football season), I have not found anything official on it. I recently got an email by a well-meaning individual that said “Blue Fridays” was the thing to do. Now to me, with my husband being away, that just didn’t seem right. I’m already blue enough without wearing the color. I’m more the “in your face” type of person anyway and perfer to think of “Red Fridays” as being significant because of the blood that’s been shed by all the military personnel who gave their lives so that we could live free. The color red is an emotionally intense color and stands for fire and blood, it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. It is also used to indicate courage. Blue on the other hand is associated with tranquility and calmness (I’m sorry, but with my husband at war, I’m anything but calm!) depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. I guess I’d rather rally people than lull them into tranquility so I’m going to continue wearing anything BOLD and RED I can find on Fridays to show my husband and the rest of the troops how much I appreciate them and what they’re doing!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
Bumper stickers would be a great idea!
Have been waiting for the shirts - thank you! Will you have bumper stickers?
Thank you!
Thank you for starting this
I’d never even heard of this. Red for me every Friday from now on.
Keep up the good work!
Hi
Very interesting information! Thanks!
G’night
Thank you for your site. I have found here much useful information.
Good site !
Our company, Haskin Electric, has purchased RED t-shirts with the US flag on the back for each of our employees. We have asked them to wear the shirts on Fridays as a way to show support for the troops. Whether others do or not, at least our level of awareness has been raised!
Hi, a friend passed along information about your website. I, and several others, have been standing two hours each Friday from 4-6PM at an intersection in Bandon, Oregon to show our support for the troops. From the number of honks and waves we get each Friday I would say that America really supports its troops. There are protest groups across the street from us but they get very little support in my town.
I hope everyone spreads the word about Red on Fridays. All my uncles, my Dad, 2 brothers, & many cousins are verteans. Our ancestors had brothers fighting on both sides of the Civil war. SO, inspired by a Barbara Mandrell song about being “country when country wasn’t cool”: I WAS PATRIOTIC WHEN PATRIOTIC WASN’T COOL. I’m designing my own shirt for all my Fridays. God Bless our troops & God Bless America, in God We Trust, One Nation indivisable, UNDER GOD . . . Keep God in the fabric of our great USA! And from an old war song: We ain’t comming home til it’s over over there.” War is not a game with a time limit. Like surgery, once started, it must be finished. A war isn’t over because someone says it is. It’s over when it’s over. None of us have the right or the expertise to determine when that is. But if we leave early, it is like the US stepped in to protect the helpless guy against a group of thug bullies. So, if we pull out too soon, we leave the little guy at least as defenseless as before; maybe even more so since the bullies now know we are out of the picture. God Bless the USA, God Bless Mankind.
I Love you girls

Red Fridays is a great way to show our support for our troops.I have to give a speech for Memorial Day. Didn’t know for sure where I wanted to go. Now I know I’m going to talk about Red Fridays. We have a small town of about 2200. I hope my Red Fridays talk, will get more support for our Men and Women of our Military.
God Bless them and Keep them safe

Former Army myself and proud to show my support in any way. I did not know why there was a “Red on Fridays” movement, until I saw an email and this website. Thanks for what you do.
Great idea! It would be good to have a centralized organization to help promote the Red Friday movement.
I continue to pray for every soldier and supporter of our Great Nation. God’s will be done in all things. Thank you to all who continue to stand firm in the conviction that “Freedom Ain’t Free”. Thank You to all who have fallen while fighting for freedom and liberty.
Peace people
We love you
Thank You
I love it!!! Miss u daddy!
This looks like everything else to support our troops, fallen by the wayside and forgotten. We can never forget our troops.Website should be updated and more info and places to RED.
I’m glad I found your site! It’s nice! Please visit my homepage too:
I just want to thank you for the support you give to all of us.
Great site! As a mother of a USAF airman I am sharing this with all I know.
The military members are very appreciative of all the suuport.
Hi!
How are you?
Not much to say except keep up the great work. Wear Red on Friday’s. I have a grandson that just got back from Iraq in 2006 before Christmas.
I hope everyone is sending this web site to others & wearing their red on Fridays. Love the logo & hope there is an option for red letters for the r & d in “red” to show up on wlghter colors & white.
Google is the best search engine
Nice sentiment… The lack of awareness amoung our nation\’s citizens is appalling. Love it or hate it, but atleast rcognize that the nation is at war. We are fighting this war to defeat Islamofascism and every American must make a sacrifice. If wearing red on Friday is all the contibution one is willing to make, so be it.
Cheers.

As the wife of a former soldier in the United States Army, I give my complete support and appreciativeness to you and your efforts to pay tribute to those men and women who take themselves away from their friends and families to put their lives on the line to give us the freedoms we all enjoy today. I just bought a new red shirt last week and look forward to wearing it this Friday !
Keep up the awesome job!
I\’m so very proud of what is done to bring pride and recognition to our soldiers and veterans. I\’m going to invest in a lot of red this year!!!
Keep up the great work!!!
I’m wearing my red shirt today:)
Very proud and bold move. You have my support 100%. I\\\’ve been meaning to go shopping for new clothes. Now I have an even better reason to do so. Our boys are making the biggest sacrifice ever, to defend the freedom that most of us take for granted. They surely deserve our support!
You have my support and thanks to all the men and women who risk their lives in order to keep us free and safe.
My sister is an incredible person. I am so proud of her for taking initiative and creating this website.
Lets get behind her and help her support our troops. Lets make this movement huge.

In Support of the troops continue the good work you are all doing in the world.
I met your brother through the Young Marines when he was stationed at MCAS Miramar and have prayed and hoped for the best for all the military for such a long time now. If only this could bring them all home safe as he did. Good job for you in trying to bring a cohesiveness to the red on Friday campaign. More power to you and to all of our military. God Bless them all and bring them home safely.
I too was praying for your brother when he was in Iraq as well at the other service members. I got to know him from the Young Marines at USMC-Miramar. Keep praying for our Military personnel, past and present. If it wasn\’t for them, we would not be living in the land of the free!
Thank You for recognizing our Soldier.
Good Job!!!!!…. From down under..
God bless our troops.
You have my support.
Finally! Someone taking this idea seriously. We need all the support we can get.
